European telco software providers Aepona and Appium have merged, the companies said Tuesday.
The business will operate under the Aepona brand and the new company expects to expand its share of the global service delivery platform market. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The company has an international base of Tier 1 service provider customers, including the France Telecom/Orange Group, BT, Sprint, Telus, Telefonica, KPN, Bharti, Telmex and Vimpelcom.
The company will be headquartered in the United Kingdom with Appium’s Sweden facility continuing to serve as a development center and regional sales office.
